The Rukh is a Pre-Hardmode vulture Boss. After killing The Rukh, the Arabian Merchant will spawn in an empty house.

Spawn

The Rukh doesn't spawn on it's own. The only way to summon it is to use Desert Crown. It can be used at any time in the Desert Biome.

Behavior

Attacks

• The Rukh flies around the screen, trying to fly above the player.
• Shoots vulture feathers at player.
• Summons Vultures (From 1 to 5)
• The Rukh will spawn tornados around the player that will harm him upon contact.

Expert Mode

• In Expert Mode the Rukh will shoot 3 Vulture Feathers instead of 1.

Trivia

• The boss is called "npcVultureKing" in Mod Sources.
• Rukh (Or Roc) in mythology is a an enormous legendary bird of prey. (Wiki)
