Spiky Shield is a Pre-hardmode accessory that can not be crafted. It can only be bought from the Knight NPC after the Eye of Cthulhu has been defeated in the world. When equipped in the accessory slot, it gives 1 defense and the ability to deal a small amount of damage to enemies that move into the player from the front side.
