Red Steel Bars are mid Pre-hardmode metal bars, they are used to craft Red Steel Broadsword, Red Steel Guardian and Red Steel Armor. They can be made with Chippy Red Steel Sword, Faulty Red Steel Shield and Red Steel Armor Piece on a Furnace.
