The Barkhan is a Pre-Hardmode shortsword dropped by the Rukh. It is likely the best shortsword the player will have at this time, and, in relation to other Pre-Hardmode shortswords, is likely the best shortsword at this difficulty level.
Its best Modifier is Legendary.
